Bewitching Finn

Armed with a secret family recipe book Grace Woodrow is cooking up a storm: and as every good witch knows the real power of magic isn’t in the lotions and potions but in the intent. Grace wants a simple life but events conspire to keep her life complicated. As a result, Grace resorts to drastic measures which inadvertently trigger a chance encounter with a sexy stranded Irish stranger. It’s lust at first sight and after a year of being virtuous the temptation to succumb to the promise of a no-strings-attached night of pure sexual indulgence proves too much.
But once isn’t enough. And if Grace doesn’t have her hands full with Finn Delaney and her interfering mother the locals are acting – well…frankly? Weird. Soon the rest of the island is unable to resist the side effects of her notoriously decadent delicacies and before long it isn’t only Grace and Finn that are making merry…

Night Owl Romance
Grace is a great character. I liked watching her struggle for the simple life she wanted. The connection between her and Finn is HOT...steamy doesn't even begin to describe it. I liked the idea about the cookbook and the baking. I think that Ms. Wallace has set us up for more books based around the Delaney's and the Woodrow's. I for one would go out and pick them all up.

Grace Woodrow returns home to lick her wounds after a terrible break-up with her cheating fiancée. Add an interfering mother to the mix and she finally realizes it's time to start understanding more of her heritage. Grace and her mother, Rose, are from a long line of witches. The interaction between them is comical and reminds me of a true mother and daughter relationship. The fact that they're both witches just makes it that much better.
Bewitching Finn is a delightful, paranormal read. It's funny and romantic and has the ever popular, tall-dark-and-handsome hero. This is a fantastic story by Emma Wallace so be sure to check it out.

Everyone loves a celebration and Rose is no exception. It’s the perfect opportunity for her to do what she does best: meddle in other people’s love lives. Better still, with all the distracting celebrations no one ever suspects there might truly be magic in the air.
As a teenager Merry Lewis vowed never to fall in love and so far she’s managed to stay true to her promise, but that’s all about to change when she literally bites off more than she can chew. As if Merry doesn’t have enough on her plate it isn’t long before Jack Campbell the gorgeous, totally irresistible recipient of the other slice of cake really starts to complicate things. An incredible week ensues where Jack pushes Merry to her limits and beyond. But is it enough for Merry to overcome her fears and let herself love?

Emma Wallace's Creating Merry Hell promises a hot and sexy romance with a touch of magic and it doesn't disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed Merry and Jack's tale, which was set on a Scottish island. While this story takes place over a brief period of time, Jack and Merry's past history adds credibility and believability to this short, erotic interlude. Creating Merry Hell illustrates that sometimes you need a little push in order to discover what's right in front of you... follow your heart and discover the best magic of all. I am looking forward to reading more of Emma Wallace's stories.

I really enjoyed this story and adored Merry and Jack. I hoped they would end up permanently together and that Merry would get over her fear of commitment and falling in love with him. You should definitely look into this one. Great story!

Creating Merry Hell was a delightful and refreshing take on the art of magic and love. It raises a great question: Does love conquer everything or is magic more powerful? I instantly wanted to see Merry and Jack together despite their past and their differences. While Merry is hesitant, and doesn't trust her feelings for Jack, he is determined and bold. I admired his determination and focus on getting what he wants, whether magic is involved or not. One of the most interesting characters in the story is Rose, the spell-casting meddler/matchmaker. While her role is small, she is a character I would love to see again in another novel. Emma Wallace has created a good story with strong characters and I wouldn't be disappointed to read more from her.

This was a quirky, yet sensual quick read. Jack makes for one fantastic hero. He is strong, sexy and determined to win the heart of his long-time love. The setting was fantastic and the cast of supporting characters were wonderful. Rose is a marvelously, meddlesome magician; I'd love to encounter her at one of my family gatherings. I can't wait to revisit this island and the interesting people who inhabit it.

Creating Merry Hell is a wickedly delicious story about two people who have loved each other and denied themselves the pleasures that come from making love with the one who is meant to be yours. I found it a lot of fun to see what comes from the meddling mother of Merry's best friend. Jack can't seem to get enough of Merry and is extremely wicked in the way he takes Merry and makes her his. The sex is scaldingly hot and inventive.
I found myself smiling throughout the book as the idea of there being a spell put on Jack and Merry to bring them together takes root. It is a fun, short book and I got a real kick out of this book from start to finish. I found it funny at how determined that Merry was to not get involved with Jack, despite finding it impossible to ignore him.
This story has the right amount of fight and determination running through it to keep you glued to the book from start to finish. These two people are very magnetic and entices you to pick this book up and read it in one sitting. Emma Wallace really made the people come to life and I couldn't resist the pull of reading Creating Merry Hell. It will take you on an erotic ride you won't want to miss.
